Privacy policy
Setr helps you find modest clothing from other stores and see it on a mannequin. This page explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@getsetr.app.
What we collect
- Your settings. Coverage preferences (sleeves, neckline, length, fabric, fit), style picks, usual sizes, price limit, shipping region and chosen stores.
- Your mannequin. The body type, tone and any measurements you enter (such as height, bust, waist and hips). These shape the mannequin used for try-on.
- Your photo, only if you choose "My photo". This is optional and for people 18 or older. You confirm the photo is of you; it's stored privately so only your account can open it, and the try-on images made from it are private to you too. We never show it to anyone else, use it to make images for other people, or use it to train AI. Delete it anytime in Try on (Delete), which removes the photo and every try-on made from it.
- What you save and hide. Saved pieces and outfits, looks you build, and pieces you mark "Not for me" with the reason you pick.
- Account details. If you sign in with Apple, Google or email, we receive your email address and an account identifier. You can also use Setr as a guest; a guest gets an anonymous identifier with no name or email.
- Store visits. When you tap Shop, we record which piece and store, the time, and your account or guest identifier, so we can see which stores people use and match purchases reported by stores.
- Try-on usage. How many AI try-ons your account makes each day, to apply daily limits.
How we use it
- To show only the pieces that match your settings, preselect your size and suggest outfits.
- To dress your mannequin with AI when you ask for it.
- To keep your saves and settings in sync when you sign in, and to send the alerts you turn on (price drops, back in your size).
- To understand which features and stores are useful, and to keep the service secure.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your measurements for advertising.
Services that process data for us
- Supabase hosts our database, sign-in and file storage.
- FASHN creates the AI try-on images. It receives Setr's own mannequin photo and the store's product photos. If you use "My photo", it also receives your photo through a private link that expires within minutes, only to make the image you asked for.
- Anthropic reads store product photos and descriptions to tag coverage. It does not receive your personal information.
- Apple and Google handle sign-in with their accounts and app store purchases, under their own policies.
Stores and links
Shop buttons open the store's own website, where the store's privacy policy applies. Links may include a code that tells the store the visit came from Setr. Setr may earn a commission from some links; it doesn't change the price you pay.
Keeping and deleting your data
Guest data stays on your device until you sign in. You can delete saved items at any time in the app. To delete your account and everything linked to it, email hello@getsetr.app from the address on your account; we do it within 30 days. AI try-on images of the mannequin may be kept and reused, because they contain no personal information. Your own photo and its try-ons are kept until you delete them, and are deleted with your account.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, California's CCPA, or Canada's PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25), you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days. Our service providers may process data outside your country, with safeguards required by law.
Children
Setr is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app.
